Who Needs to Register a Globe Telecom SIM in 2026?

How to Update Your SIM Registration Information on Globe Telecom Network 

If you move to a new address, change your name (such as after marriage) on your ID, or update any personal details that must be updated in the globe network system, you must update your SIM registration records.

How to Convert Your Physical Globe SIM to eSIM

Converting your physical Globe SIM  to eSIM is easy and you don’t need to get a new number; you can  keep the same number and registration. You don’t need to re-register your eSim. To convert your existing physical globe sim card follow the steps given below:

Pre-Conversion Checklist

  • Make sure your physical SIM is already registered (check with SIMREG to 8080). 
  • Before you convert your globe sim card to eSIM make sure your phone supports eSIM feature.

Important Warning

Once converted, your physical SIM will be disabled within 48 hours. Make sure you are ready to complete the setup on your device immediately.

STEP 1

Initiate Conversion

  • Go to the Services section and click on  eSIM and tap the “Convert to eSIM” option.
  • Select your number and tap Convert to eSIM ( make sure your number is selected as primary number in the app as if it is secondary you won’t be able to convert it to esim).
  • Enter your active email address as you will receive a QR code and payment receipt via email.

STEP 2

Payment

  • Pay the one-time fee of ₱99 by GCash or  credit card. 
  • Once your online payment for globe eSIM is done you will be able to download your eSIM. 
  • In the app click on activate globe esim it will be added to your phone automatically. 
  • On the same phone (or the phone you want to use):
  • Go to settings, click on mobile data then select cellular and then click on add eSIM if.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install.

STEP 3

Activate & Install

  • Turn on mobile data and minutes for activation.
  • Once the eSIM shows “Connected”, remove the physical SIM card from the tray.

Report Stolen or Lost SIM Card

Act immediately to prevent scammers from accessing your GCash, Banking OTPs, and Social Media. Blocking your SIM protects your identity and your funds.

Note: If you found your misplaced sim later on after reporting it or blocking you can reactivate your existing globe sim you don’t need to replace it if you haven’t replaced it yet

Globe SIM Replacement

If you want to keep your same number, you must request a SIM replacement in-store. For globe sim replacement with same number  Follow the instructions given below:

Must be requested in-person at any Globe Store.

What to Bring:

  • Valid Government ID (Original + Copies)
  • Notarized Affidavit of Loss
  • Selfie holding Affidavit and ID
  • SIM bed or GCash card (if available)

Process:

Staff will verify your identity, permanently block the old SIM, and issue a new one with your same number for a fee of approx. ₱99.

eSIM Re-issuance

Can be done digitally through the GlobeOne App.

For eSIM replacement 

  • Open GlobeOne app (logged in with your registered account).
  • Go to Services and tap on eSIM.
  • Select the blocked number and tap re-issue eSIM or request New QR Code.
  • Pay the one-time fee of ₱99.
  • Receive a new QR code via email or in the app.
  • On your new phone open settings then select mobile data/ cellular and then click on  add eSIM and scan the new QR code if it’s automatically not added yet.

Path: Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM → Scan QR Code.

For Globe At Home or MyFi Users

If the SIM is inside a modem or pocket WiFi:

  • Call 211 from a Globe mobile
  • Or visit a Globe store

If you need to visit Globe store then bring:

  • The modem device (if requested)
  • Valid ID
  • Affidavit of Loss

Staff will block the old broadband SIM and issue a replacement if needed.
